i'm aware of that and i did. Light settings were already set to 1 so i needed only the sirensettings set from 0 to 1. so, this is were my knowlegde ends since im not a modder.

to get AI to recognize its a police car you need to edit both siren & light settings to (1) in carvariation.meta

can't believe that in 2023 still "replace only" files are provided for british cars. for u.s. cars you'll get replace AND full functional dlc-version (rpf) in one pack in common. i hope the british car modders will do so in future.

lml isn't working for me. after all these years with gta5 i've already got a very nice police fleet so replacing isn't an option. therefore i was asking for a working addon-dlc version...

just put it in Police3 slot or use LML. The handling isnt good on it so i recommend using the police3 handling

sadly it doesn't work as SP addon-dlc. i've changed the metas to emergency car with the right flags and sirensettings. but AI won't recognize it as police car. so traffic is ignoring bluelights and sirens and won't pull over :((
