June 2022I said I find it hilariously tragic. I’m not ‘but hurt’ about anything. Lmao

June 2022But it does mean the right thing? So I don't understand why your so but hurt when people use it?

June 2022“ MO19 Is the correct abbreviation for the Specialist Firearms Command within the MET.” yeah, on their Excel spreadsheets. “The majority of UK MET Clans use MO19” this only started as a trend a few years ago because one kid wanted to one-up London’s Calling and thought they were cool by using a new term they read from a fleet article. In the real world, however, no one refers to SCO19 as ‘MO19’ except administration in offices. So I find it hilariously tragic people write ‘MO19’ on their decals and model parts without know what it actually means.

June 2022MO19 Is the correct abbreviation for the Specialist Firearms Command within the MET. When referring to the SFC of which the ARV and SERT are apart of MO19 is the correct abbreviation. Regardless of whether MO19 or SO19 is correct the creator chose to use MO19 because the majority of UK MET Clans use MO19 so it makes sense that he would name it something they are all familiar with. Also bloody good model Tron Modifications!

June 2022The majority of met clans do utilise the term MO19 and since this is made for UK clanning I felt it would be best to name it with one members are familiar with. Regardless, both terms correlate to the Met Operations Firearms teams. Hope this helps clears things up.

June 2022https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/539772/response/1291977/attach/3/attachment.docx lol ‘Met clans’ aren’t a credible source, the real Metropolitan Police Service is.

June 2022Pretty sure the official abbreviation for Met Operations 19 (Specialist Firearms Command) is MO19. However sure whatever you like to call it ig.

June 2022MO19 is the incorrect term. Unless you’re talking about business deals, administration and fleet running costs.

July 2022Cheers mate, didnt get a notification for the comment unfortunately which is a shame but sorry for the delay. There wasnt meant to be this much of an issue of it being called MO19 even though I have since confirmed with someone who actually works in the MET that it is indeed referred to MO19. Cheers!
